Nanna Øland Fabricius, known to fans around the world as the artist Oh Land, came in to the music scene in 2008 under less than conventional circumstances. When 10 years of training and a budding career in ballet was abruptly ended by injury, a life in music began.

At the age of 22, Nanna wrote and produced her first album, Fauna, which was released to much critical acclaim. Having recorded most of the album by herself in her bedroom, Nanna discovered an early knack for production. She has since released four studio albums and collaborated with renown producers Dave Sitek, Dave Mccracken and Dan Carey among others. As a writer she has worked with Sia, John Legend and Pharrell, to name a few.

Nanna has done numerous international headlining tours over the past 10 years, intermixed with supporting dates for such acts as Katy Perry and Sia. These albums have paved the way for a growing discography of hits, with "Sun of a Gun", "White Nights”, "Wolf & I", “Renaissance Girls" and "Head up High", to name a few.

In recent years Nanna has also made a splash in the classical music world, playing with Lang Lang and Joshua Bell in Carnegie Hall and orchestrating whole concerts for the symphony orchestra in her native country of Denmark. She recently collaborated with the Queen Margrethe II of Denmark to create ballet for Askepot, the Danish Theatre pantomime in Tivoli, Copenhagen. In summer 2017 she created the musical for Watermusic, a multimedia performance attended by over 15,000 people at Randers Harbor in Denmark, combining architecture, dance and music. She also created the exhibition “The Ship” at Nikolaj  Kunsthal gallery in collaboration with visual artist Eske Kath.
