Pain is part of love, and moving on is part of growth.”
For Adi, now both a celebrated artist and a new mother, the track holds a deeply personal meaning. Rooted in her feminist values, it’s a song about self-worth and boundaries.
“As the feminist that I am, I loved the idea of writing a scenario in which a woman speaks up for herself and tells her partner that what they’re giving her is just not good enough. I’m raising a daughter now, and I want her to learn to love deeply and unconditionally but also to choose herself first.”
