ADI OASIS

VICKIE STARR // MANAGEMENT

Adi Oasis has always been a storyteller of strength, resilience, and groove. With her new single, "Separate Ways", she turns her gaze inward, offering her first-ever breakup song; a soulful, empowering anthem about choosing yourself, even when it hurts.

Separate Ways is actually my first time putting out a breakup song. I think every artist has a good one in their catalogue, so maybe it was about time” Adi shares. “Letting go is an inevitable part of growth, whether it’s a partner, a friend, a job, or even a bad habit. Pain is part of love, and moving on is part of growth.

For Adi, now both a celebrated artist and a new mother, the track holds a deeply personal meaning. Rooted in her feminist values, it’s a song about self-worth and boundaries.
As the feminist that I am, I loved the idea of writing a scenario in which a woman speaks up for herself and tells her partner that what they’re giving her is just not good enough. I’m raising a daughter now, and I want her to learn to love deeply and unconditionally but also to choose herself first.”

Built on Adi’s signature groove-driven production and unmistakable vocals, “Separate Ways” blends neo-soul warmth with a bold new energy. It’s both tender and defiant: a love song to self-empowerment and a soundtrack for anyone facing a necessary ending.

The release marks the start of a new chapter following the success of her acclaimed album Lotus Glow, which earned over 180M streams and fueled a sold-out global tour. Recent singles have garnered support from tastemakers including BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 6, Jazz FM, KEXP, KCRW and many more while Adi has been taking her fearless spirit to unexpected places from performing in a New York sauna to a Parisian laundromat, proving that there’s no stage too unconventional for her magnetic energy.

The single signals the next phase of an artist who made headlines for turning a lost‑luggage disaster into a viral flex, walking onstage in a hotel bathrobe, bass in hand, towel turban ablaze and who continues to demand visibility for artist‑parents.

With "Separate Ways," Adi Oasis expands her artistry once again, offering a soulful reminder that sometimes the most powerful love story is the one you write for yourself.

She has toured globally, appearing with such artists as Anderson .Paak, Gregory Porter, JUNGLE, Keyshia Cole, Lee Fields, Big Freeda and more, and has performed at Central Park Summerstage, Afropunk, Funk on the Rocks (Red Rocks) and London Jazz Fest
